Adobe

You will use Adobe for your digital classes at PSC. Your tutors will explain what Adobe account is required in your first class.

Microsoft 

As a PSC student, you are given free access to the Office 365 suite, which includes:

• Outlook (email)
• Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• OneNote
• Cloud services such as OneDrive (file storage) and Teams (collaboration)

You can use these apps through a web browser or download them onto your computer.

Please note that all correspondence from the College will be sent to your PSC email address - your student number@psc.edu.au. This is also your Microsoft username.

Apple Laptops

I suggest revising as per the following:

If you are using an Apple laptop for your studies at PSC, we recommend using a MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pros can run all the software required throughout your course.

For MacBook Pro options, please see the Apple website.

Windows Laptops

I suggest revising as per the following:

If you are using a Windows laptop for your studies at PSC, there are many different options.

We recommend purchasing Windows laptops from the from the following:

• JB Hi-Fi
• Scorptec
• OfficeWorks
• Centre Com

Hard drive

Hard Drives can always be hard to choose the right one for what you are using it for at PSC we find the best Hard Drives to use for the courses is "see list before" we have linked the options to JB HI-FI website and also just the 1TB options but you are able to get bigger Hard Drive sizes in each of this drives if you want.

Computer leasing

if you do not own a computer you are able to lease a computer for you time at PSC from AppTech, you will need to email there shop support person Eddie with the subject line "Photography Studie College computers leasing" too email below and he will send you over all paper work and T&C for leasing a computer

You should have received your account information in the welcome email sent by Student Services – please read over this email for account information.
