AI SYMPOSIUM 2025 -

BEYOND THE LENS

Sunday, May 25 | Photography Studies College, Melbourne

Artificial Intelligence is no longer a distant concept—it’s here, woven into our creative tools, media landscapes, and visual languages. From generative image models and algorithmic editing to smart workflows and machine-aided design, AI is reshaping not just how we make images, but what an image can be.

For photographers, designers, artists, and media makers, this moment is both thrilling and uncertain. Long-held ideas about authorship, originality, process, and truth are being questioned and reimagined. AI challenges the boundaries between human vision and machine vision, between intention and automation.

And yet, within this disruption lies possibility. New tools bring new forms. New limitations spark new creativity.

The AI Symposium 2025 invites you into this conversation—not just to witness the shift, but to participate in it. Whether you're an artist experimenting with prompts, a photographer navigating shifting workflows, or a curious observer of culture and technology, this is your space to engage, question, and explore the evolving landscape of image-making.
