Have entry requirements changed for Year 12 students applying for 2021

We understand that this year has been a rough year for year 12 students. Many arts and media classes have been impacted or cancelled and you just want some clarity for 2021. So here is what we have done to make things a little less complicated!

1. No ATAR? No problem! Our informal and friendly interviews are conducted in a holistic and thoughtful way. We base interviews on you, the whole person, and focus on your personal and creative development and aspirations.

You can bring photos created in year 11 or 12, and even present from your instagram account!

2. Early Offers - Conditional Offers Available for 2021 entry! After a successful interview students will receive a Conditional Offer before end of August! (admission offers will be conditional on successful completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent)

I want to study at PSC, how do I apply?

Applications are now open for PSC's 2021 intakes!

You can apply directly through PSC's website for both the Bachelor of Photography and the Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging if you know that PSC is the place for you.

Our Future Students Team will be in contact to arrange an interview once your application is completed.

Can I afford to study?

If you’re concerned about being able to afford studying, there are many types of help available.

PSC's Bachelor of Photography is a FEE-HELP approved course. FEE-HELP is like HECS but for private providers like PSC.

The Australian government can provide income support if you’re studying – and you’re eligible – in the form of Austudy, ABSTUDY and Youth Allowance. Have a look at the governments StudyAssist website to find out what support is available for you.

Where do I go for advice?

On Open Day you will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout our live sessions or in a one-to-one meeting!

See the Application Support section below to book in for a one-on-one meeting with our Future Students Coordinator Steph Doran or our Student Services Team Leader Phil McDermott!

It's said that "photography is the only language that can be understood anywhere in the world." At PSC, we not only teach students how to become fluent in that language, we inspire them on a journey of learning, storytelling and self-expression.
